Driver Riding With Corpse Arrested For Murder: Police
Police have not yet said why Timothy Mackley was found driving through Portland with a dead woman in his trunk.

PORTLAND, OR — A traffic stop on Southeast Holgate Boulevard Monday night resulted in an arrest for murder after officers found a dead woman in the car along with the driver. The Oregon State Medical Examiner on Tuesday confirmed the woman died from homicidal violence.
On Wednesday, police identified the woman as missing 89-year-old Marcine Herinck. Herinck, who was reported missing Sept. 19, was last seen walking on Northeast Glisan by the Glendoveer Golf Course. Due to memory problems police believed Herinck was experiencing, officers did not initially think her disappearance was suspicious and instead only thought she may have wandered off and gotten herself lost.
The grisly discovery of her body in the trunk of Timothy Joseph Mackley's car, however, has significantly altered the investigation.
