Santa Visits Ill Children At Rhodes Hall

Chronically ill kids will visit with Santa Nov. 30 at Atlanta's Rhodes Hall.

From Georgia Trust: Santa will visit children from Camp Sunshine and Kate's Club at Rhodes Hall in Atlanta on Thursday, Nov. 30, 5-7 p.m. The event is part of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation's annual "Santa at Rhodes Hall" and kicks off with "VIC Night," a free event for the Very Important Children and families of Camp Sunshine and Kate's Club.

Since 2009, children from Camp Sunshine and Kate's Club and their families have enjoyed a special complimentary evening featuring holiday entertainment, music, arts and crafts, storytelling, refreshments and best of all, personal appointments with Santa.

The "Santa at Rhodes Hall" event will continue on weekends, Dec. 2-17. A $40 family admission covers entertainment, refreshments, and a 5x7 photo with Santa. Families may also bring their own camera or video recorder for an additional $20. Proceeds from "Santa at Rhodes Hall" support the activities of The Georgia Trust.
