Target is erasing that friction and cutting the errand time in half by rapidly expanding its high-speed EV charging network across the U.S., while also expanding its use of sustainable infrastructure across its store network.

By pairing its position as a leading retail provider of EV infrastructure, hosting over 3,000 stalls across 42 states with its classic one-stop-shop experience, Target is turning a basic errand into a powerhouse multi-tasking stop.

How the modern EV driver can knock out three chores in 30 minutes:

1. Plug In: Drive up and plug into an on-site rapid charger (compatible with nearly all EV models via platforms like PlugShare) where available a Target.
2. Power Up: Head inside to grab a Starbucks, pick up pharmacy essentials at CVS, or stock up on road trip snacks.
3. Roll Out: Return to a fully charged vehicle, skipping the traditional, out-of-the-way highway charging stops entirely.

Since 2020, Target expanded its charging network by more than 200% because shoppers are explicitly asking for more built-in convenience.

With an additional 135-plus sites currently under construction or in development, bringing high-velocity power directly to the parking lot means shoppers can effortlessly power up their cars and their carts at the exact same time. The investment also reflects broader efforts to incorporate sustainability into store operations while meeting evolving guest needs.

EV stations are available at six Metro Atlanta locations including Target at East Point, Edgewood, Marietta East, Northlake, Perimeter and Smyrna as well as Georgia Target stores in Columbus, Conyers, Douglasville, Newnan and Peachtree Corners.
