Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Hosts Joint Induction Ceremony and Founders’ Day Observance on June 6, 2026

ATLANTA, GA —Metro Atlanta and Alabama chapters will unite on June 6, 2026, for a distinguished Joint Induction Ceremony and Founders’ Day Observance, celebrating the enduring legacy, leadership, and vision upon which the organization was founded. The event will honor the rich history of sisterhood while formally inducting new members committed to scholarship, service, leadership, and community empowerment.

Participating Metro Atlanta Chapters:
• Atlanta Peachtree Chapter
• North Atlanta Chapter
• NewRock Chapter
• Gwinnett-South DeKalb County Diamond Chapter
• Greater Suwanee Gems Chapter

Participating Alabama Chapter:
• Birmingham Metropolitan Chapter

The observance will be held under the leadership of National Area IV Director Lady Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson, whose commitment to excellence and community advancement continues to inspire members throughout the region.

Special recognition is also extended to National President Eddie Lee Marsh of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., for her visionary guidance and steadfast dedication to empowering communities and advancing the organization’s mission nationwide.

Founders’ Day provides a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the vision, courage, and determination of the founders of Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated (TLOD). Founded in 1964, TLOD was established to unite professional women dedicated to community service, educational advancement, leadership development, and civic engagement. For more than six decades, the organization has empowered women and youth through scholarships, mentoring, outreach initiatives, and community partnerships.

This joint observance represents more than a ceremonial gathering—it is a celebration of unity across Metro Atlanta and Alabama chapters, reinforcing a shared commitment to preserving the organization’s history while preparing new leaders to carry its mission forward. The induction ceremony reflects the dedication of new members to uphold the principles and standards established by the founders.

Under the leadership of National Area IV Director Lady Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson and National President & CEO Lady Eddie Lee Marsh, the organization continues to expand its reach and strengthen its commitment to leadership, scholarship, and community service across the region.

The June 6, 2026, program will feature ceremonial inductions, historical reflections, special recognition, and a Founders’ Day tribute, bringing together members, supporters, and community leaders for an afternoon of fellowship, reflection, and celebration.
