Tyler Perry Gives $21K In Tips At Houston’s: GA Coronavirus
Tyler Perry helped out-of-work servers affected by the coronavirus pandemic over the weekend with large tips.
ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta’s media mogul Tyler Perry is at it again with his desire to give back. His most recent act of kindness was tipping out-of-work servers $500 each. WSB reports that Perry spent a total of $21,000 on Sunday at Houston’s restaurant on Northside Parkway.
Perry has been ordering food to-go more frequently, sources tell TMZ. He’s a “big fan” of the food chain, the outlet reports. Forty-two unemployed servers received the tip.
Perry has a record of being charitable. After Hurricane Dorian, Perry flew a plane to
the Bahamas with supplies. In 2018, Perry paid off $400k in Christmas layaways at two Atlanta-area Walmarts.
