• Georgia gas station sues Buc-ee's amid mascot spat (kvue.com) — A trademark fight between Texas-based Buc-ee’s and Georgia’s Teddy’s Market directly involves the chain’s Ball Ground location, which uses a cartoon bear mascot Buc-ee’s claims is too similar to its beaver logo. Teddy’s is now asking a federal judge to cancel Buc-ee’s beaver trademarks, arguing the company’s lawsuits against small businesses have gone too far.
