Award-winning Dacula Artist Donates Work to Support Local Arts Organization

An award-winning watercolorist and Dacula resident has donated one of his paintings to support a local arts organization.

Henry M. Wood Jr.'s painting titled "Takin' a Break" will be auctioned off at the Barrow Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner Feb. 4 in support of the .

Residents who wish to bid on the painting who may not be attending the dinner can contact Kathleen Gill, president of the Georgia Piedmont Arts Center, to make arrangements for phone bids. Gill can be reached at 404-202-3044.
