Barrow County News: Ordinance that Resulted in Candidate's Disqualification is Atypical

The reports that a city ordinance that prevented a candidate from running for Winder City Council is atypical in Barrow County.

The Barrow County News reports that the ordinance, put in place years ago, is alcohol specific and does not apply to business licenses in general. It also only applies to alcohol licenses inside the city limits.
