Barrow Journal Reports Commission Chairman Recently Engaged in Several Confrontations
The local news publication reported Chairman Danny Yearwood recently had confrontations with a county resident and a commissioner.
Despite opposition from Chairman Danny Yearwood, the Barrow County Board of Commissioners voted to allow Sheriff Jud Smith to purchase new patrol vehicles.
The reports Yearwood has engaged in several confrontations recently, including what the paper calls an angry exchange with Commissioner Steve Worley over the issue of purchasing patrol cars and a confrontation with a resident who addressed commissioners during the public comment portion of a county meeting.
