Braselton Businesses Can Appear on the Big Screen

With the first hints of spring in the air, so come memories of favorite spring and summertime activities. For many residents of Braselton, that list likely includes the town’s popular Movie in the Park series.  

From June through November 2012, the town of Braselton will play host to five movies in the park at Braselton Park in the heart of the historic downtown area. In the past, movies have included such family-friendly titles as Disney/Pixar’s Cars 2, Dreamworks Animation’s MegaMind, Twentieth Century Fox Animation’s Rio and Disney’s Tangled, among others.  

During a Movie in the Park evening, local residents descend upon Braselton Park armed with lawn chairs and blankets to gather together with friends and neighbors before the movie begins at dusk. It’s a great opportunity to reach a captive audience if you own a local business. 

That’s why the town of Braselton has issued an invitation to area business owners to sponsor a Movie in the Park.  

For a sponsorship fee of just $500 per movie, which show once a month, sponsors will be provided with the opportunity to have their logo placed on all movie advertisements and onscreen before the movie begins. Sponsors can also opt to send in one additional Powerpoint slide to accompany the logo slide. Businesses may elect to sponsor more than one Movie in the Park.  

Because each Movie in the Park will have just one sponsor, and there are only five opportunities available, interested parties will want to act quickly. Sponsorships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and sponsorships do not allow businesses to choose the movie being shown. Upcoming Movie in the Park evenings will take place in June, July, August, September and November 2012. Dates and movies are yet to be determined.
