To cap off the 2011 season, and pay tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11, the theme of this week's Statham Farmers Market will be Firefighter and Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The Winder Barrow ROTC will open the market by presenting the colors, complete with bugle and bag pipe players. Members of local fire and police departments will be in attendance, and the Yargo Community Orchestra will perform. Come out to the Statham Farmers' Market to buy the freshest produce around. All food is locally grown and all products are locally handcrafted.
