Get High on the Hog in Downtown Auburn at New Restaurant

The city of Auburn is about to welcome a new restaurant to its lineup of local businesses.

On Wednesday, March 14, the doors to McGuire’s Biscuits and Bar-B-Que will be flung wide to welcome hungry Auburnites and visitors to the Barrow County municipality. Located right next door to , McGuire’s will be open for breakfast and lunch five days a week and dinner two days a week.

The hearty breakfast menu features everything from fresh-baked biscuits smothered in gravy to biscuit sandwiches filled with such Southern scrumptiousness as country ham, hot links, tenderloin, sausage, bacon, bologna, eggs and cheese.

Lunch and dinner menus boast stick-to-your-ribs selections such as homemade barbecue sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, slaw dogs, chili dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, barbecue plates and more. For pint-sized patrons, a kids’ menu is also available.

Following the March 14 debut, McGuire’s will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Thursday and Friday, the business will remain open until 8 p.m. The restaurant plans to host an official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday, April 14.
