Local Organization to Celebrate Spring with Arts Festival
There's something for all ages at this weekend's Spring Phling.
From mini art lessons for adults to an all-day children's art activity, the annual offers fun for all ages.
The fine arts and fine crafts tent festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, April 14, on the lawn at the GPAC cottage in Auburn, where more than 20 artisans will offer their creations for sale.
Free mini art lessons in pastels and watercolor painting will be offered for adults, and Barrow residents can call ahead at 404-202-3044 to reserve a seat. A children’s art activity will be also be offered.

Musical entertainment will be provided throughout the day and Statham City Council member Perry Barton will demonstrate his blacksmithing skills.
