Local Theater Donates to Boys and Girls Club

The Winder-Barrow Community Theatre recently made a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Winder-Barrow County.

Tery Overbey, president of the local theater group, presented a check to Derek Hutchins, director of the Boys and Girls Club.

The donation was presented as a part of the theater's ongoing initiative to recognize a local nonprofit group during each theatrical presentation. The Boys and Girls Club received part of the proceeds from the play "Father of the Bride," which closed in August.
