Local Theater in Need of Actors

Calling all thespians with free time during the day.

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre Children’s PLAYhouse is creating a new drama program to offer live theater at local elementary schools.

This acting group will be open to home-schooled teenagers and adults ages 16 and up. Performers must be available during the day as plays will presented during school hours.

Rehearsals will be scheduled both during the day and also in the evenings, and roles will be double cast.

Plans for performances include eight shows presented the last three weeks of March. The group will offer a play appropriate for students in pre-K through first grade and a play for students in second through fifth grades to each elementary school in Barrow County.

Auditions for this special group will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the , 105 E. Athens St. No prepared material is required.
