Looking for a 3BR home to rent in Barrow County

I am looking for a home to rent in Barrow County. I am having a hard time finding anything under $800-$900 that is 3 BR for my children and me. I work full time and still find it a challenge to find an agent accepting to give me a chance because there is not a second income. I was advised to look on Craigslist for a "For Rent by Owner" but have only come across scams. Any help/advice/information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
