Local families, survivors, and officials are remembering the four victims while reflecting on the recent sentencing of the teenage shooter and his father, and on how the community continues to support one another through ongoing grief. 
• Search Launched After Young Woman's Phone Was Found in Park. Days Later, Authorities Announce She's Safe (people.com) — A search that began when a 21-year-old woman's phone was found at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder has ended with good news: police say she was located safe in the Atlanta area. Winder officers and other agencies had mounted a large ground and water search amid concern for her emotional well-being before learning she had left the park on her own.
