Waste Not, Want Not: Winder is Accepting Bids for Project
The city of Winder issues a request for bids for the Embassy Walk Force Main project.

The city of Winder is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish all materials and equipment and perform all labor necessary to construct the Embassy Walk Force Main.
This project will include all associated structural and mechanical components, all site work, wastewater equipment and other items required to provide a complete project in accordance with the plans and specifications.
Interested contractors bidding on this project will be required to comply with all federal, state, territorial and local laws. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the bidder holds a Georgia State Contractor’s License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act O.C.G.A. 43.14.

A non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the . Sealed proposals are currently being accepted by City Clerk Sabrina Wall at . Bidding will close at 2 p.m. Nov. 17, when proposals will be opened and read aloud at city hall. The city will then evaluate all proposals and select a contractor based on qualifications and bid price. The selected contractor will be notified in writing of the award of the contract.
