June 12: Public Talk “Buddhist Mind-training and the Words of William James” with Geshe Dadul Namgyal
Intrigued by the deep resonance and potential space of the words and quotes of William James, Geshe-la will explore the mapping of Buddhist mind-training themes while diving into several profound Buddhist insights and lessons.
June 19: “Past and Future Rebirth” with Geshe Ngawang Phende
This is one of the principles of assumptions of which Buddhism is rooted. The existence of past and future life will be explained through examples of rational reason and will travel through the process of the streams of lives both past, present and future. Geshe-la will discuss how we travel to the future from our present and how our actions can make a difference to the path we take.
June 26: Public Talk “The Seed of Buddha Nature”
with Geshe Ngawang Phende
One of the main beliefs in Buddhism is that every sentient being carries this seed. All sentient beings are equally capable of becoming a Buddha. This presence of the seed and it’s inherent nature will be explained through examples and metaphors via classic Budddhist teachings, texts and sources.
