5 Dead In Military Cargo Plane Crash
A cargo plane belonging to the Puerto Rico Air National Guard carrying at least five people crashed in Port Wentworth, Georgia, near the Savannah-Hilton Head Airport, early Wednesday afternoon. Capt. Jeff Bezore of the Georgia Air National Guard's 165th Air Wing said at least five people have died in the crash.
Dog Saves Family From Fire By Alerting Them With Barking
A family's dog alerted them to a fire early Tuesday morning by barking in their two-story Castlegate Townhome, according to the Gwinnett Fire Department. No injuries were reported.

A Sandy Springs man accused of running a drug distribution operation from his home told police his sudden economic crisis forced him to launch the enterprise. Dan Ernst Siegler was charged with possessing about two pounds of marijuana and dozens of THC-infused candies after a search of his home unearthed his stash of drugs.
