Buckhead Recycling Event Receives Tons of Electronics, Paper, and Paint
All of the materials will be recycled or destroyed in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner.

The group responsible for an annual recycling event in Buckhead says that this years iteration was successful despite the threat of rain and a different date than usual.
Livable Buckhead says that nearly 400 people stopped by their Eco Collection event on Oct. 11 and donated thousands of pounds of unwanted paints, documents, electronics, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, and more. According to BuckheadView, some of the totals were:
- 17,000 pounds of electronics
- 230 pounds of Christmas lights
- 4.5 tons of paper
- 9 tons of chemicals and paint
The Eco Collection is usually held during the spring, but Livable Buckhead decided to move the event to the fall due to the abundance of ”spring cleaning” recycling events in the area.
