Join us on February 23 between 2 - 4 pm to learn more about AMI Montessori Education. Not every school offering Montessori is Authentic - there is a clear difference and providing your child with the TRUE Montessori environment will offer students a challenging and nurturing learning experience.
An Authentic AMI School (Association Montessori International - Dr. Maria Montessori founded in 1929 to maintain the integrity of her work) will offer Lead Guides with AMI Training, a complete set of approved AMI Montessori materials, a beautifully prepared environment, NO work books or ditto sheets - the students create their own beautiful work books based on their individualized study and a five day requirement for Primary aged students and up.
Primary Montessori students usually start at around the age of two and a half and remain in the same class with the same Guide for three to four years, graduating out at around age six prepared for Montessori Elementary or Traditional First Grade. Montessori classrooms are mixed - aged with a three - four year span. Primary ages are two and a half to six - six and a half.
Montessori children are involved in their classroom community, are independent and problem solvers. Care for themselves and the environment in a thoughtful - peaceful manner. Students are led by Trained Montessori Guides - with respect - to explore the materials in the classroom and the abstract world.
Join us for an Open House or tour at Carlisle Montessori School of Buckhead and see the difference. www.carlislemontessori.com or call 404-949-0053
