Hillary Wins Georgia's Money Primary
The Democratic White House hopeful has raised more money from individual donors than any other presidential candidate in Georgia.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has raised more money in Georgia than any other presidential candidate, according to figures from the Federal Election Commission.
The figures reflect direct donations to the candidates, and do not include money raised by political action committees or interest groups on behalf of an individual candidate.
Clinton has raised $1.3 million, pulling in more than the $791,795 raised by Republican Jeb Bush, who dropped out of the race after placing a disappointing fourth in last weekend’s South Carolina primary.

Of the GOP candidates who are still in the race, Ben Carson is the leader among Georgia donors, with $767,467. Carson is followed by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz ($617,701); and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio ($570,382).
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, who has invested a lot of time and attention in Georgia, has only raised $55,514.

Democrat Bernie Sanders has raised $320,529 from Georgia contributions.
Most of the candidates’ major donations comes from Atlanta’s intown zip codes beginning with 303 and 300.
Clinton’s support comes largely from intown Atlanta’s zip codes beginning with 303 ($870,437) and 300 ($197,917.) But Sanders also drew substantial numbers from northwest metro Atlanta’s 301 zip code and northeast Georgia’s 305.
Clinton will be in Atlanta on Friday, Feb. 26. Cruz will be in Atlanta on Saturday, while Rubio makes a campaign stop in Kennesaw.
Georgia, along with Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, will hold their presidential primaries on March 1.
