Cruz Holding Downtown Atlanta Rally on Saturday
The Texas senator will be in the metro area at the same time as Marco Rubio, and one day after Hillary Clinton.
ATLANTA, GA -- U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz will be making a campaign stop in downtown Atlanta on Saturday in Liberty Plaza.

Cruz and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, who are battling for second place in the polls behind GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, will be in the metro area at virtually the same time. Rubio will be making a campaign stop in Kennesaw on Saturday at 12:30 pm.

Her appearance comes less than a week after GOP frontrunner Donald Trump held a campaign rally at the Georgia World Congress Center, and only two weeks after her Democrat rival, Bernie Sanders, spoke to thousands of students at Morehouse College.
On Monday night, Rubio’s campaign office officially opened in Atlanta.
Clinton has a solid, 52-point lead over Sanders in a recent Channel 2 Action News poll conducted by Landmark Communications/Rosetta Stone.
