Morgan Stanley’s Paul Horning Nominated for Businessman of the Year from the Atlanta Gay Chamber

ATLANTA, GA, August 21, 2013 –Paul Horning, a senior vice president at the Horning-Link Group of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management has been nominated by the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC) as the Business Man of the Year. Horning, along with 4 other nominees will be honored at the 15th annual Community Awards ceremony on August 23 at the InterContinental Hotel in Buckhead.

 

“I am pleased that Paul’s work at Morgan Stanley and within the LGBT community has been recognized by the AGLCC,” stated Michael Outlaw, Managing Director and Buckhead Complex Manager at Morgan Stanley in Atlanta. “I congratulate him for standing out in his profession and making a difference in his community.”

Atlanta-based Horning is as dedicated to his clients as he is to his charitable interests and non-profit involvement. He is an advocate in Atlanta’s LGBT community and is a current board of directors member and past chair of the Gay and Lesbian Victory fund, an active member of Project Open Hand’s Atlanta advisory board, founding member and current treasurer of the LGBT Caucus of the Democratic Party of Georgia (for which he is also a member of the State Committee), and founding member and past co-chair of the LGBT Leadership Council of the Democratic National Committee.  Paul is a native of Illinois and resides in Atlanta.
