• Man dead in shooting at Buckhead apartments; 3 detained, police say (atlantanewsfirst.com) — A man was shot and killed early Friday at the Mezzo luxury apartments on Peachtree Road in Buckhead, in what Atlanta police believe was a targeted robbery in the parking deck. A friend of the victim was also injured and hospitalized, and three people were detained in Cobb County after officers tracked a suspect vehicle back from the scene.
