400+ Fans At Mall Of GA For NFL’s Nick Chubb Autograph Signing

BUFORD, GA – Palmetto Moon celebrated the recent opening of its new store at the Mall of Georgia with a special autograph signing event with NFL athlete Nick Chubb. More than 400 fans attended the event on Saturday, July 14, to have their merchandise autographed.

Since Palmetto Moon’s founding, the brand has been passionate about college sports. In fact, all stores feature a Collegiate HQ section that includes branded merchandise ranging from t-shirts, jerseys and sweatshirts to hats and accessories. Palmetto Moon is also dedicated to tailoring each store’s merchandise to the local community, which they’ve done by offering sports and tailgating gear for the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech at the retailer’s five Georgia locations.

Chubb, a rookie running back for the Cleveland Browns, was the 35th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Because Chubb is also a University of Georgia alum, partnering with him for this event was a natural fit for Palmetto Moon.

This was the retailer’s second recent event that featured NFL players. In 2017, one of Palmetto Moon’s South Carolina stores hosted an autograph signing with Deshaun Watson and Mike Williams. As part of a Father’s Day campaign surrounding the event, Palmetto Moon also gifted four military fathers with a VIP meet and greet, photo opportunity and autograph from Watson.
