'Armed and Dangerous' Home Invasion Suspect Arrested
Police accuse Raahmil Brantley of climbing a fence and trying to force his way into a Buford home.

BUFORD, GA -- A home-invasion suspect who was considered armed and dangerous by police has been arrested.
Gwinnett County Police say Raahmil Brantley, 24, was arrested at about 4 p.m. Wednesday. Brantley had been wanted in connection with a May 23 incident.
According to police, a man was feeding his dog in his back yard on Lanier Springs Drive in Buford when he saw a man, armed with a handgun, climbing a back fence.

The victim ran inside and, after locking a sliding glass door, tried to hold it closed as the intruder tried to open it.
When he saw the intruder pick up a metal hose, he grabbed his daughter and ran out of the house, screaming for someone to call 911. He ran to a neighbor's house and called 911.

The victim and neighbor both saw the man police say was Brantley running through the victim's back yard to get away. It is unclear, police say, why the victim was targeted in the crime.
Brantley faced charges of home invasion and cruelty to children. He was transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
