The Awkward Cup Sorbet, Smoothie & Juice Bar, located in the Wisteria Village Shopping Center, at 2420 Wisteria Drive SW, Ste 5, Snellville, recently celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting with the Gwinnett Chamber.

The Awkward Cup started out as a cool treat we offered guests when they visited our home back in Michigan. These frozen treats became so popular among relatives and friends that they urged us to convert our 7 x 16 enclosed trailer into an awkward smoothie company on wheels. It took a leap of faith, some imagination and a few extra dollars … but what we were able to accomplish in less than one year with the business convinced us that our frozen treats were worth sharing with the world.
