Boy, 8, Critically Injured in I-85 Wreck
Car flipped in crash Thursday night, closing lanes of traffic in Buford area, according to reports.

BUFORD, GA — An 8-year-old boy was expected to survive after critical injuries in a wreck late Thursday on I-85, according to media reports.
A woman's Chevrolet Tahoe veered off the interstate, onto a grassy median before flipping and hitting a tractor-trailer, according to the AJC.
The crash closed several lanes of I-85 near I-985.

A witness told Channel 2 the mother could be heard saying, "Check for my baby."
The child was airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with life-threatening injuries, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.
