Buford American Legion Hosting Bluegrass and BBQ JamFest
Event will include performances by The Ken Scoggins Band, The Redstone Ramblers, Nu-Blu, Chattahoochee Chain Gang and more.

The American Legion Post 127 is hosting the event. According to a post on the American Legion website, volunteers have been hard at work arranging for vendors and performers as well as preparing to feed an estimated 1,000 visitors to the festival.
The event is open to the public and will feature performances by The Ken Scoggins Band, The Redstone Ramblers, Nu-Blu, Chattahoochee Chain Gang and more.

The JamFest will begin at 10 a.m. on Sept. 22 and continue until 11 p.m. that evening. Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children under 12 years of age and $10 for Legion members with identification.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to various veteran’s causes and will also be used to fund scholarships for children who have lost a parent during the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns.
