Buford remained No. 1 in the Class AAA football rankings released Monday by the Georgia High School Football Daily.
The Wolves opened their season with a 46-7 win over Elbert County on Friday, Aug. 30.
According to the GHSF Daily, six Buford players scored touchdowns versus Elbert County.
Buford plays at Gainesville this week.
