Buford Woman Killed; Gunman In Critical Condition: Police
The 44-year-old woman is believed to have been shot by her husband while a child was in the home, according to police.

BUFORD, GA — A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after a shooting Sunday in Buford, according to police.
Desiree Ann Jean Marin, 44, is believed to have been shot by her husband, who is thought to have then shot himself, in the wake of an argument, police said. The incident occurred about 10 a.m. at a residence in the 2600 block of Ivy Stone Trail, according to police, who said a child was home at the time but was not harmed.
Both Marin and her husband were taken to a hospital, where Marin died and her spouse remains in critical condition, police said.
