Buford's Alcohol Compliance Rate is at 100%!

The Gwinnett County Police Department detectives visited 10 alcohol retailers in the unincorporated area of Buford between October 1 and December 31, 2015. None of the 10 stores sold alcohol to an underage decoy.

Compliance checks are important because they validate that employees are checking IDs to prevent alcohol sales to those under 21 years of age. It is evident that the owners and managers at these stores have trained their staff properly on checking IDs and making sure that they do not sell alcohol to minors.

We are excited to highlight the following retailers who did not sell alcohol to an underage decoy. Your diligence in checking IDs ensures that our community stays safer and healthier.
