Fourth of July Weekend at Lanier Islands Resort - Sunday
Award-winning Lanier Islands Resort is set to light the fuse on one of its most memorable Fourth of July weekends on record. From the greens at Legacy Golf Course and the indoor sport suites at Game Changer to the white sand beaches and water slides of Fins Up Water Park, virtually every acre of the 1200-acre lakeside destination will be devoted to opportunities for memory making and good old-fashioned summer FUN. Two Nights of Fireworks over Margaritaville at Lanier Islands – Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 from 7-10 p.m. – LandShark Beach offers the perfect spot for viewing.
Live Music by the Lake – On Friday, July 4 – Sunday, July 6, Margaritaville at Lanier Islands guests can enjoy live music at LandShark Landing between 7-10 p.m., and on Saturday, July 5, overnight guests of Legacy Lodge can enjoy live music poolside between 12-4 p.m.
Outdoor Cookout at Legacy Lodge – Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 from noon to 4 p.m. – Overnight guests can enjoy lakeside views and patriotic vibes with a classic menu of grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. An outdoor bar and ice cream social round out the experience for guests of all ages.
Margaritaville Cruises – A nautical extension of the fun to be found inside Margaritaville at Lanier Islands, there will be two Margaritaville Cruises Fourth of July Weekend: A Margarita Lake Cruise sets sail at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 and a Brunch Cruise Experience rings the meal bell at 9 a.m. followed by a two-hour cruise on Sunday, July 6.
Game Changer Open Daily – Showcasing 23,000 square feet of all-season, climate-controlled fun, this indoor playground offers axe throwing, duckpin bowling, virtual sports suites, arcade games, an escape room, adult gaming machines, two bars, and a full-service restaurant. On Friday, July 4, Game Changer will feature Karaoke Night from 7-9 p.m., and on Saturday, July 5, it will welcome Halem Eric Albright to the Game Changer Stage between 6-8 p.m.
Legacy Golf Course Open Daily – Featuring 18 lakeside holes that are every bit as scenic as they are challenging, the resort’s Legacy Golf Course offers tee times throughout the holiday weekend.
Fins Up Water Park Open Daily – With its 13 waterslides, four attractions, white sand beach, and colorful collection of watering holes and restaurants, Fins Up Water Park inside Margaritaville at Lanier Islands will be a popular destination for fun-in-the-sun seekers Fourth of July Weekend. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, July 4-5, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 6.
Last but not least, Lanier Islands Resort is offering special July 4th holiday weekend rates starting at just $209 per night, available from June 29 to July 7. Although availability is limited, so prospective overnight guests are encouraged to book their stay right away. There are also several accommodation packages available to enhance their weekend, including the Summer Family Fun package, which includes overnight accommodations for four at Legacy Lodge, up to four tickets to Fins Up Water Park per night of stay, daily breakfast buffet, private resort cart (based on availability), and more.
