FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
2025 Buford Holiday Festival & Parade Set to Bring Big Cheer to Downtown Buford on December 6

Buford, Ga. — Downtown Buford will once again transform into a winter wonderland as the 2025 Buford Holiday Festival and Parade, presented by the Buford Business Alliance and the City of Buford, returns on Saturday, December 6, 2025. With a festive parade, live entertainment, holiday shopping, delicious food, and plenty of kid-friendly fun, this beloved annual celebration promises a magical start to the holiday season for families across the region.

The day begins with the Holiday Parade from 9 to 10 a.m. The parade starts at Tannery Row, located at 554 W. Main Street, travels down historic Main Street, and concludes at South Hill Street. More than 50 parade entries will be decked out in their most festive holiday designs as they compete for the title of “Buford’s Most Festive” along with a cash prize and well-earned bragging rights. Leading the parade this year is Grand Marshal Paige Ewing, Mrs. America 2025. A proud Buford resident, Ewing is a grief coach, photographer, community volunteer, and mom. She earned her national title in Las Vegas this past August and will go on to represent the United States in the Mrs. World pageant in January 2026.

Spectators can look forward to vibrant appearances by local fire and law enforcement vehicles, the renowned Buford Band of Wolves Marching Band, and the Seckinger Marching Band as it makes its debut in the parade. And, of course, no holiday parade would be complete without a visit from Santa Claus himself. Participation in the parade is free, though all entrants must register and be approved, and candy will be tossed to spectators throughout the route.

At 10 a.m., the celebration continues with the Buford Holiday Festival, stretching from South Hill Street to Wilson Street and encompassing the scenic Buford Amphitheater Park at 301 East Main Street. Festivalgoers can enjoy more than 60 vendors offering holiday gifts and treats, a variety of food trucks serving seasonal favorites, and live stage performances throughout the day. Children will enjoy a free Kids’ Zone complete with a bounce house and games, and pet lovers won’t want to miss the Paws & Claus Holiday Dog Costume Contest, where the Most Festive Pup in Buford will be crowned. Families are also invited to stop by for free photos with Santa.

This year’s event is proudly supported by generous sponsors. Gold Sponsors include Spraggins Law Firm and The Curious Cup. Silver Sponsors include Bailey Roofing and Restoration, Cloudland Vineyards and Winery, Concrete Professionals, Elevation Autism Center, Mays Law Firm, Peoples Bank & Trust, The Piedmont Group, The Turf Butler, Unique Oils, Universal Roofing and Construction, and Window Nation.

Proceeds from the Holiday Festival and Parade benefit the Buford Business Alliance’s Giving Back initiative, which funds scholarships for deserving local high school seniors and provides support to nonprofits and school-based causes throughout the Buford community. Founded in 2010, the Buford Business Alliance has grown into one of the region’s largest business organizations, now representing more than 150 members. The BBA hosts two networking events each month, including After-Hours gatherings on the second Monday and Breakfast meetings on the third Tuesday at Brightside Café.

A limited number of parade entry slots remain open to businesses, civic organizations, school groups, dance studios, pageant representatives, and other community groups. All entries must be holiday-themed and should bring plenty of candy to share with the crowd. While there is no fee to participate, advance application and approval are required.

In the event of inclement weather on December 6, the Holiday Festival and Parade will be rescheduled to Saturday, December 13 at the same time and locations.
