Frontier Archaeology Day Open House

The Open House was postponed to Sunday June 14 due to rainy weather.  The public is now invited to attend Sunday. June 14, 2026 (w/free admission) the Frontier Archaeology Day Open House celebrating Archaeology Month in Georgia from 1:30pm-4pm. To be held at the site of historic Fort Daniel, an 1813 frontier fort constructed on Hog Mountain, GA (formerly Jackson Co), now Buford, Gwinnett County, at 2505 Braselton Hwy 124, Buford, GA 30519. Free Parking. Free admission. Note new time change 1:30-4pm (diff from orig. flyer).
