Carrington Academy Students Deliver Gifts to Local Organization

Students held a toy drive to support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's "Gifts that Give Back" program

On Dec. 14, Pre-K students from Carrington Academy in Braselton delivered more than 60 gifts for patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Over the past month, students worked together to collect toys to fulfill the wishes of patients and help make their time in treatment more comfortable through the organization’s “Gifts that Give Back” program. During the delivery, students learned more about the hospital’s gift program and the importance of giving back, especially during the holiday season.

As the only freestanding pediatric healthcare system in Georgia, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is the trusted leader in caring for kids. The nonprofit organization’s mission is to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow through more than 60 pediatric specialties and programs, top healthcare professionals, and leading research and technology.
