Celebrating Cultures at Primrose School of Buford
Preschool students celebrate different communities and cultures together!
Primrose School of Buford Preschoolers paraded through the playgrounds today, celebrating cultures. At our annual "Celebrating Cultures" Parade, our students dressed in traditional attire, carried flags and musical instruments of various countries around the world. Our students joined more than 48,000 children across the country in celebrating unique cultures this month. After studying several countries and their customs, the children participated in the parade, shared ethnic food recipes and joined hands to sing “It’s a Small World.” We finished the event with the reciting of our "Pledge of Allegiance" at the school flagpole.
"Celebrating Cultures" is part of the Balanced Learning® curriculum offered exclusively to families at Primrose Schools. The program includes character building components that teach children the importance of helping others and being involved in the community. In partnership with The Music Class®, an award-winning, international music education company, the Rhythm and Notes® music curriculum will complement the Celebrating Cultures event by adding a rich library of music and companion classroom activities.
We were very happy to share this incredible event with our families on such a beautiful day!
