Area Residents Graduate from Mercer University

MACON -- The following area residents graduated from Mercer University during the University’s spring commencements:

• Uzma Khan, of Sugar Hill, earned a Master of Public Health from Mercer’s College of Health Professions
• Taylor Harter, of Buford, earned a Bachelor of Arts from Mercer’s College of Liberal Arts
• Tiffany Le, of Buford, earned a Bachelor of Science summa cum laude with University Honors from Mercer’s College of Liberal Arts
• Kay Allbritton, of Buford, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing cum laude from Mercer’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing
• Veronica Pimentel, of Buford, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing cum laude from Mercer’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing
• Leah White, of Buford, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing cum laude from Mercer’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing

Valdosta State Announces Spring 2015 Graduates

VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of the nearly 1,200 students who completed the requirements of their respective academic programs during the spring semester. Area residents were received their degrees during the university’s 219th commencement ceremonies are:

Clemson announces spring 2015 Dean’s List

CLEMSON, SC -- Clemson University has announced the Dean’s List for the spring 2015 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Local students on the list include:

• Leah Elizabeth Perri of Buford , whose major is Health Science
• Nicholas C. Andryusky of Sugar Hill , whose major is Civil Engineering

Kaitlyn Ann Kooi of Buford named to President’s List at Clemson University

CLEMSON, SC -- Kaitlyn Ann Kooi of Buford has been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2015 semester. Kooi’s major is Psychology. To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

VSU Announces Dean’s List for Spring 2015

VALDOSTA, GA -- Valdosta State University has announced the names of more than 1,700 Spring 2015 students who earned Dean’s List status. Students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the Dean’s List. Developmental studies, transients, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean’s List status. This list includes:
