The GEHC will host a special Grandparents Day celebration on Saturday, Sept. 8 at McDaniel Farm in Duluth. This special event will take place from 10 a.m. until noon and is entitled "Back When I Was a Kid." Grandparents and their families will enjoy homemade ice cream and a 1930s heritage farm.
“This is a special program for families, especially grandparents and grandchildren. Visitors can enjoy a tour of McDaniel Farm and learn about the type of fun their grandparents experienced as kids,” stated Catherine Long, GEHC history and culture program manager in a press release.
