The fifth annual Heart & Hands Emporium shopping
extravaganza is scheduled for September 21 and 22. Hosted by the Women’s Ministry of First
Baptist Church (FBC) Gainesville, the Heart & Hands Emporium is a two-day
shopping event featuring more than 70 vendors and is conveniently located at
the church’s banquet hall.
“The Heart & Hands Emporium brings together a wide variety of vendor booths
featuring clothing, accessories, home décor, jewelry, collectibles, metal and
wood art, original paintings, ornaments, children’s books, monograms, furniture
and much more,” says Janet McDonald, chair of the 2012 Heart & Hands
Emporium. “There is something for
everyone and all conveniently located in one place. We hope that the Emporium not only allows
people to get a jump start on their holiday shopping, but also provides an
enjoyable atmosphere for fellowship with friends and neighbors.”
The Emporium will also include door prize drawings and delicious home-baked
goods. Proceeds from the Emporium will
benefit The Guest House, a private, non-profit Adult Day Health Center that has
provided affordable care to older adults since 1985. They offer a safe, secure, home-like
environment with RN, LPN, CNA & dedicated activity professionals on staff.
