Garrett Popcorn Opens at Mall of Georgia
An Atlanta Falcons-heavy grand opening was scheduled for 5 p.m.
BUFORD, GA -- Popular snack stop Garrett Popcorn Shops opened Friday at the Mall of Georgia.
A grand opening event was scheduled for 5 p.m.
Atlanta Falcons fullback Patrick DiMarco was set to attend the opening, along with mascot Freddie Falcon and members of the Falcons cheerleaders.

The Chicago-based popcorn store has been around since 1949. The Mall of Georgia will be its second metro Atlanta location, with the first located at Lenox Square.
Specials at the grand opening will include $1 bags of one of the shop’s gourmet popcorns and a $19.49 Falcons-themed one-gallon tin.

The shop is located on the mall’s lower level, near J.C. Penney.
