GHSA Moves Buford Wolves Up to Class 4A in 2014
The Wolves have been the dominant football power in classes 2A and 3A

Buford High School, which was in the state’s smallest classification just 12 years ago, is moving up in the Georgia High School Association.
The Georgia High School Association reclassified its member schools Monday for the next two academic years
Buford will move up from Class 3A to 4A (there are six classifications in the GHSA), beginning next school year. The Wolves have won five football championships in the past six years.

This is the first step in the GHSA’s process of realigning schools every two years.
Schools will be divided into regions in early December, then finalized in January.
