Lanier High School will have the smallest graduating class among Gwinnett County Public Schools when 334 seniors receive diplomas this week.

At the top of the class are Valedictorian Dain Song and Salutatorian Ji Hee Min, the Nos. 1 and 2 seniors academically.

- Lanier High’s graduation is scheduled at 12 p.m. Friday, May 22 at the Gwinnett Arena.
- Lanier will have 74 honor graduates.
- Lanier’s Avery Evans (U.S. Navy) is among the 26 GCPS students to receive appointments to military academies.
- Lanier’s Collin Rusch was named a Georgia Scholar.
- Christopher Tromp and Molly Kunkle were named Lanier’s outstanding senior athletes.
- More than 11,000 seniors will graduate from Gwinnett County Schools this year.
- 83% of the students graduating this year report that they plan to continue their education by attending college or postsecondary schools.
- The seniors who plan to continue their education have been offered, as of April of 2015, nearly $155 million in academic, athletic, and military scholarships.
