Gwinnett Woman Charged With Stealing From PTA
Jennifer Obando, 34, was a clerk at Nesbit Elementary School.

BUFORD, GA -- A Gwinnett County woman and former elementary school clerk has been charged with stealing money from the school's PTA.
Jennifer Obando, 34, of Buford, was arrested March 14 on fraud charges, the AJC reports.
Nesbit Elementary School PTA president Ebony I. Jones went to police in December to report money missing from the parent-teacher association fund, the paper says, citing police reports.

The exact amount of money missing remains under investigation, the reports said.
Obando reportedly worked as a clerk at the school for two year and served as the PTA's treasurer. She left the school in June.
