Help Police Catch A Check Forger
Authorities say the woman in the photographs cashed forged checks for more than $3,000.
BUFORD, GA -- Gwinnett County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a check forger.
Police say the woman in the photos cashed a forged, fake check for more than $3,000 at SunTrust Bank at the Publix in Buford.
On April 1, at about 10:50 a.m., the woman cashed a counterfeit check for $3,450, police said.

The Publix is at 5885 Cumming Hwy. in Buford.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the Electronic and Financial Crimes Unit at 770 513-5300.

To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404 577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org. Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
