Mall of Georgia Working To Draw More Diners: Report

The mall's owner is renovating the food court and The Village, an outside dining area.

BUFORD, GA — The Mall of Georgia is undertaking a pair of renovation projects to provide shoppers with new dining options, according to a media report. The mall's owner is remodeling the food court and expanding an outdoor dining area with new attractions, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

As the largest shopping center in the state, the Mall of Georgia has more than 200 stories on three levels. The food court will be transformed with new lighting, paint and seating, according to the Chronicle.

The other renovation project involves The Village, an outdoor area with six restaurants, and it's due for completion by the end of the year. Improvements will include a fire pit, new seating and a children's play area, the Chronicle reports.
