Man Wanted in Series of Convenience Store Armed Robberies in Gwinnett
At least three of the robberies were reported in Gwinnett County, including a RaceTrac in Buford.
Police are looking for a suspect wanted in a series of convenience store robberies in metro Atlanta, including one in Buford.
Gwinnett Police released surveillance camera images Thursday of the suspect from one of the robberies on July 11 at the Sam’s Mart at 1745 Indian Trail Road near Norcross. During that robbery, police say the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the cashier and made off with $180. The robbery happened at 2:30 a.m.
Gwinnett Police public information officer Cpl. Deon Washington said the same suspect allegedly robbed at least four other locations since that date:

- RaceTrac, 2682 Buford Drive in Buford, July 20
- Sam’s Mart , 6185 Windward Pkwy in Alpharetta, July 19
- Sam’s Mart, 3841 Satellite Blvd in Duluth, July 18
- Shell gas station, 3799 Buford Hwy in Brookhaven, July 12
Police describe the suspect as a black male, age 20-25, 5 foot 10, 200-220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, blue bandana, blue beanie cap and black gloves. He used a black pistol in the robberies, police said.
