Margaritaville Partier Kicks Deputy In Face: Police
A woman from New York is facing several charges after kicking a deputy in the face and kicking the back window of the patrol car.

BUFORD, GA — A woman from New York has been charged with felony obstruction and interfering with government property after kicking a deputy and the back window of the patrol car after partying in Margaritaville on the 4th of July holiday.
Deputies with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office responded to Margaritaville, within Lake Lanier Islands, and ultimately arrested Marissa Marie Diana, 23, for public drunkenness.
After being placed in the rear of a patrol car, Diana kicked the rear window out of the patrol car.

Diana then kicked one of the deputies in the face.

She was charged with public drunkenness, felony obstruction and interference with government property.
Bond has been set at $5,700 for the obstruction, $5,700 for interference with government property
and $130 for public drunkenness.
Diana is no longer in custody at the Hall County Jail.
This case remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
